Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you! Next pay day I am planning on buying myself into the beta and experiencing this game that gives me 'must have' butterflies whenever I hear of it! I've RPed in WoW, SWTOR, and GW2 but this.... I'm looking forward to it.
I am not familiar with how Lore works yet in this game, so if anyone has any information on that so that I may start working on a Character I'd be most appreciative.

Let's see, I've been 'rping' ever since I was a child and my version of 'house' was naruto/starwars/wooden stick mashups. When I became older I got myself into the WoW community, but it took me about 2 years to discover that RP servers exsisted! I played on Moonguard (Before Goldshire appeared) As Yukka, Calenne, and Evialyn (Alliance side)

In SWTOR I played as Valiance on Begeren Colony (Sith)

and in GW2 I (still) play as Ransyn Morad, and Gwyneth of Dusk (Tarnished Coast)

In games I usually have a ton of alts that I have big plans to develop and bring into the RP communities, but I always just get stuck on one or two.

I've lived all my life on the West Coast, US, never been out of the country. I believe the farthest east I've ever traveled was Illinois.

I was very into SWTOR until the game went F2P. The RP community that I could see was really trying to grow into more than "RP At the Cantina, hope for interesting story" kind of situations, but by the time I left, it seemed like it was fading which was really a shame. I never played Star Wars Galaxies, but I heard Archeage reminded the original players on it's game style, just set in a fantasy setting instead of sci-fi.


I have not gotten the game yet, but I plan on doing that as soon as possible. If anyone can tell me what I need to know, that'd be great!

Welcome to Archeage man. The systems in the gameplay are great for role playing. It feels very good and fluid in game.
