I'm new here. I heard of ArcheAge via Steam. The descriptions reminded me a lot of my days back in Star Wars Galaxies (class versatility), and I was hoping to try and strike at a new game and roleplay. I have several different concepts I want to roleplay, several of which come from past D&D sessions. I will detail them below. I've played D&D for 13 years, now (switching to Pathfinder at the release of 4th edition), I have played several MMO's, as well, including but not limited to: Asheron's Call 2, Earth & Beyond, Star Wars Galaxies, RO (private servers), FFXI, DDO, DCUO, Champions Online, The Secret World, and Landmark. I was an avid roleplayer in SWG, did my best in EnB, and have tried to keep an air of RP in CO and TSW, but it's challenging to find others involved in the hobby. Outside the above mentioned games, I mostly work, but occasionally find time to read, bike, work on PCs and electronics, and travel. I currently reside in the state of Wisconsin, USA.

Character concepts (as per writing in Alpha):
Densharr - male Firran Blackguard - an ambitious cat, wanting to bring back a grand Firran Empire (personality loosely based off Lord Zetta from Makai Kingdom)
Kethiat - female Elven Demonologist - attractive but vain and socially challenged sorceress - "They expect me to do WHAT?! ...for a pretty dress? Okay!"
Violetkell - female Nuian Evoker - pretty much an attempt at a jack-of-all-trades bard; she's friendly, happy to help people, and not afraid to get dirty when she needs to

Star Wars Galaxies was such a great game for roleplay. I was so busy RPing in UO I didn't take advantage of it like I should have! Definitely a regret of mine.

Welcome to the AA Roleplay community! We are all going to have a blast.
