ArcheAge Roleplay

Just signed up for the site mostly due to the fact that I'm trying to decide if I should take a leap into the game or not. My last few games I've played, I have not found very strong, active roleplay communities.

I like to roleplay but haven't done any in a long time. After this weekend of doing Closed Beta and seeing all the amazing detail and possibility for roleplay (and I didn't get as far as I would have liked), I started reviewing the forums and found this site information.
I thought the best way to make an informed decision was to look into the strength of the community rather then assuming a great game would have great roleplay.

I have yet to convince my partner to take the plunge,as we are not pvpers, given that there is no dedicated rp server yet. I am hoping that if I make initial connections, friends, and survey the waters before hand that I will be able to. I hope that you all can help me do just that since I really, really enjoyed myself this past weekend even though I was on my own. (he didn't get into closed beta this time)

Even though there's quite a lot of PVP in ArcheAge, there is tons of other stuff to do as well! Exploring, crafting, farming, trading! It's a great and exciting world out there..

I've only met a few people on here, but so far they all seem nice (if not a tad crazy to completely insane :P)

This is a great community of people. Everyone I've met so far here is really cool and friendly. You would feel at home here. We do tend to get a bit wild from time to time but nothing to crazy. Hm, well you can always try to avoid PvP. I mean, I know for a fact there will be RPers out there looking to sell their services to protect people going on trade runs or things like that for the ones who don't like PvP. Which I may do, Since I LOVE LOVE LOVE PvP and won't mind hiring out myself or just help out to protect you.

Heya welcome to ArcheAge Roleplay! I've been skeptical of most MMO's and their RP communites because I keep comparing them to the vast one SWG had. But let me tell ya AA is getting there and definitely has the potential to be one of the MMO's with the biggest RP communities. But yes, join, talk, Rp, fool around with us and I'm sure you'll have a great community behind ya come launch!
