Hey all just a quick question:

After taking a peek at the elvan single player story line I can't help but wonder....

Are people going to rp the time period after the single player story line or before? Because...a LOT of things happened that seemed to shift society as a whole. For example

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS (seriously if you don't want spoilers stop reading everything from here on out. The question still remains the same though. Will people rp events before single player story or after? What do you do if someone is rping before and you after?)

Before hand the elves were tormented by their dead king's memories and lived a life of isolation. The couldn't leave without being considered traitors and generally looked down on the other races.

After the story they form a tentative alliance with the humans and are free to leave the forests.

Which...would lead to two completely different roleplays soo...which one do I choose?

Why not build the official storyline into your roleplaying story? it's basically about your hero so you may aswell advance alongside it until you get to the end and can build upon it.

A solid idea but say I'm near the beginning of the story and I'm rping with someone whose at the end to me

Spoilers!

Elves are really secluded while to the other guy they're branching out. Unless there are different clans of elves?

I was wondering the same thing actually. The entire Elven culture totally changes after the storyline. I'm personally thinking it would make more sense to pick it up after the Single Player story, just because those quests are all low-level content.

Different clans of Elves definitely works. I think it could be said that while some Elves accept the fact that they have a king now and are mingling with Nuians, other Elves may still be feeling less-than-happy about it. Aranzeb is still their god, and they may not have those memories the single-player did, that prove that he didn't really hate all humans.
